Being a mom who works in the fashion industry can be tough. Aside from balancing mommy duties and deadlines, you have to look impossibly put together while doing it all. I’ve learned to edit my wardrobe to just the essentials that can take me from playtime with my son to store openings and events in the evening. I choose pieces that are easy to move in, classic but with details that make them standout. This season I picked two lovely and extremely versatile tops from The Ramp. I absolutely fell in love with this Candy Satin Tent Top (P750) the minute I laid eyes on it. The gorgeous color flatters all skin tones, the slight halter cut highlights the shoulders and the back cutouts make it cool and sexy at the same time.
I paired it with this amazing Gold Metal Necklace (P895) my comfiest jeans and sky high heels. To make the look more errand-friendly, all I need to do is throw on a military jacket and switch from heels to sneakers!
My second pick just exudes freshness and is so on-trend for the summer! The Eyelet Tank (P1190) is just what every wardrobe needs for that hint of feminine chic! The design houses of Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Louis Vuitton all featured lace and eyelet pieces mixed and matched with pretty much everything.
I decided to toughen up the piece by wearing it with an oversized jacket, Rainbow Shorts in Mustard (P890) and navy pumps. The top also looks amazing when paired with a pastel maxi skirt or just plain old cutoffs!
